Sasha Fink

Social Worker

Sasha Fink is a Registered Social Worker (MSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

Training/Work Experience: Sasha completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto and has worked with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. In addition to her work at MindFit, she currently supports bereaved youth at Jewish Family and Child Service.

Presenting Concerns: Sasha supports children, teenagers, young adults, and parents experiencing a wide range of challenges including:

  • ADHD/Executive Functioning
  • Anxiety & Perfectionism
  • Caregiver Fatigue
  • Emotion Regulation
  • Low mood/Depression
  • Stress and burnout
  • Low Self-esteem
  • Life transitions
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Grief & bereavement

Approach: Sasha incorporates a strengths-based and member-centred approach in her work. She often draws from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, while integrating mindfulness-based strategies. Sasha is known for weaving evidence-based techniques together with compassion, creativity, and crafts.

Outside of MindFit: Sasha enjoys crafting, reading, pilates, completing puzzles and spending time outside in the sun!
