Dr. Greg Tippin
Dr. Greg Tippin is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) to provide services to adults, with specializations in clinical, health, and rehabilitation psychology.
Training/Work Experience: Dr. Tippin completed his Ph.D. at Lakehead University and a pre-residency program in health/rehabilitation psychology through the London Clinical Psychology Residency Consortium. Dr. Tippin is a clinical psychologist at the Michael G. DeGroote Pain Clinic at McMaster University Medical Centre and a part-time assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University.
Presenting Concerns: Dr. Tippin works with individuals experiencing difficulties with depression, generalized anxiety/worry, stress, social anxiety, OCD, panic attacks, phobias, sleep/insomnia, and adjustment to life’s demands and changes. He specializes in working with people who have chronic health issues, such as chronic pain, cardiovascular problems, and postconcussion syndrome.
Approach: Dr. Tippin uses a structured evidence-based approach to help clients reach their goals with cognitive-behaviour therapy, as well as motivational interviewing and mindfulness.
Outside of MindFit: Outside of his work at MindFit, Greg enjoys spending time with family, cycling, and listening to music.
